Experiences - IBPOC Youth Book Club
Not currently running*
Run in collaboration with Kelowna Inclusive.
Experiences is a book club for Kelowna and Vernon youth ages 13-18 that shines a spotlight on the often-overlooked narrative of IBPOC youth of all backgrounds, identities, genders and orientations. We seek to bring IBPOC youth together to recognize the authenticity of their experiences. By recognizing the importance of experiences in shaping our worldview and perspectives, we aim to build solidarity with each other, supporting, listening and empowering our voices collectively.
Facilitators: Naaz Kaur Grewal-Greeno (she/her) from This Space & Josh Raphael (he/him) from Kelowna Inclusive.

These group sessions provide a dedicated and affirming space for young individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) to come together, share experiences, and address topics that are of particular relevance to their communities.
