Individual Counselling Sessions

We offer no cost and accessible individual counseling to 2S/LGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC young people aged 12 to 24 years facilitated by counsellors who identify as 2S/LGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC. 

This is YOUR space, an inclusive and affirming environment built to address YOUR mental health and well-being needs. Spaces aren’t always designed for us, but this one is!

Mental Health Support

Mental health support related services focused on acknowledging stressors that 2S/LGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC young people may face due to their identity, keeping in consideration the added complexities tied to intersectionality and identity based discrimination.

Social Safety & Well Being

Offering services and assistance to have conversations related to sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as navigating societal and personal challenges. Emphasis is paid on cultural support within the community and the promotion of specific coping mechanisms catered towards 2S/LGBTQIA+ and/or IBPOC young people.

Violence Prevention

These services focus on acknowledging the complexities of reporting and healing within the 2S/LGBTQIA+ and IBPOC community, to provide specific dynamics and support needs. Additionally, there is also an understanding of collaborating on strategies that can address feelings and emotions experienced as a result of violence.

Community Engagement

Helping young people foster connections through engagement and involvement based resources with a focus on the specific risks and vulnerabilities within the 2S/LGBTQIA+ and IBPOC communities. Additionally, recognizing the importance of community involvement for mental health and well-being.
